CSKA Moscow signs Artem Vostrikov and Alexander Kurbatov to five-year contract extensions
Both players will continue playing for CSKA-2 in Russian Superleague 1
Forward Artem Vostrikov (21 y.o., 201 cm) and center Alexander Kurbatov (19 y.o., 208 cm) signed new 5-year contracts with our club.
Both players will continue playing for CSKA-2 in Russian Superleague 1.
Vostrikov is a Muscovite, the Army Basketball School alumnus, his first coach is Ivan Kucherov. He played for the Red-Blues second team from 2013, won 3 VTB United Youth League titles, has become the tournament MVP last season. CSKA-2 captain. His averages in 2016-17 season are 10.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists in 26.6 minutes. Also Artem had two triple-doubles.
Kurbatov was born in Karabanovo, Vladimir Region, started to play basketball in Sports School of Mytishchi, first coach Tatiana Belyaeva. Plays for CSKA junior teams from 2012. 3-time VTB United Youth League champion, Final 8 MVP and Best Center. His last season averages are 9.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.8 blocked shots in 15.4 minutes.
