Simone Pianigiani, who has a multi-year agreement with Olimpia Milano, asked Hapoel Jerusalem to be released.
Pianigiani has one year remaining on his contract with Hapoel Jerusalem with whom he won both the Israeli Supercup and Winner League reaching also the EuroCup semifinals.
Hapoel Jerusalem will allow Pianigiani to leave but they are not in a hurry, as reported by Sport5.co.il.
Hapoel is now seeking a buyout to let him return to Italy.
