Stephane Lasme is back on the market: he can be signed by any team, his lawyer said

After receiving a one-year ban in Turkey last season, Stephane Lasme is now back on the free-agent market and can be signed by any team, as his lawyer said during an interview with Sport 24 Radio. Lasme, who played for Galatasaray last season, has already received interest from three teams.

"We fought hard against this ban and now FIBA has finally decided to re-consider the case," Giannis Marakakis, Lasme's lawyer, said. "Stephane can be registered in any team since tomorrow and has already received interest from three different teams from what I know. The decision to ban him for one year was an unfair one and the kind of measure was way too hard for the player".
