Fenerbahce wins in Barcelona 72-73

Fenerbahce Istanbul edged FC Barcelona Lassa 72-73 in a thriller on Friday at Palau Blaugrana. Fenerbahce won its second game in a row to start the season, while Barcelona slipped to 1-1. Guards Kostas Sloukas and Bobby Dixon scored 15 points apiece to pace the winners. Bogdan Bogdanovic followed with 12 points and Ekpe Udoh scored 10 and pulled down 8 rebounds. Tyrese Rice led the way for Barcelona with 19 points and 6 assists. Stratos Perperoglou added 14 points and Ante Tomic posted 12 points and 8 boards. Fenerbahce leaned on fantastic three-point shooting (11 of 21, 52.4%), which helped overcome Barcelona’s 31-25 rebounding edge.
