Omer Onan: Fenerbahce supports Euroleague. We won't back away against threats
The assistant GM of Fenerbahce expressed his full support to Euroleague
Fenerbahce assistant general manager Omer Onan said that the Turkish powerhouse fully supports Euroleague calling the competition the second best in the world after NBA.
Via Eurohoops, “Fenerbahce supports Euroleague 100%. FIBA are making pressure on other clubs. But we believe that Euroleague and Eurocup are better organization and that they will improve basketball. If Turkish federation suspends one of the teams from the league we will take action with Euroleague. We won’t back down against threats. The tournaments won’t be organized with a mentality from 70s. We believe that Euroleague is the best basketball organization after the NBA”
