Teams will play two Euroleague games in the same week for five times next season

Andrea Bassani of Euroleague spoke with San Martino RTV about next season.

Euroleague will start in October and finish before May 20.
With the new Euroleague format, the teams will play 30 regular season games plus quarterfinals and the Final Four.

The calendar will be “compressed” from October till March (not in February because there are the National Cups) with “double weeks.

For five time the clubs will play two games in the same week

Bassani made the example using Olimpia Milano.

During next season trip in Greece, Milano will play on Tuesday against Panathinaikos and on Thursday or Friday of the same week against Olympiacos.
