After the home loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv, Ergin Ataman criticized the referees and Euroleague.

“They stole us the victory” said Ataman referring to the block made by Tyus in the final seconds of the game. “The referees have to watch the instant replay in the final seconds as stated by the rules. We will file a protest” added Galatasaray head coach. “Euroleague is eating Turkish money. I have complained a lot of times already. Turkish Airlines is the main sponsor of the Euroleague but the Turkish team are always victims. It has to stop. We fought as lions but the referees decided the game” ended Ataman.

    I dont get it..ataman wants benefits from refs because of turkish airlines!?!?
    people go to prison for that mr.ataman!!! and if he wasn't such a lousy coach his team would have won yesterday!. that and the fact that his players CHOAKED on the line!.
    how can u complain about the refs?!!? 28 maccabi fouls to gala's 17
    27 gala free throw attempts to maccabi's 14!
    turkish clubs are a joke...all that money for nothing!
    money and big-name players dont win titles if u didn't notice (olympiakos & maccabi).
