Crvena Zvezda supporter stabbed in chest, killed in Istanbul
There were some incidents before the game between Galatasaray and Red Star

A 25-year old fan of KK Crvena Zvezda, Marko Ivkovic, was killed yesterday in Istanbul stabbed in chest after some incidents happened before the Euroleague game between the Serbian team and Galatasaray.
According to Turkish police the Serbian fan who died after a five-hour surgery, was killed in an argument between Red Star fans.
Around 300 supporters of Crvena Zvezda showed in front of the arena and most of them were refused to enter because without tickets.
According to information provided by Turkish and Serbian media, the Serbian fans attacked police and other Turkish supporters after they were refused to enter and while Galatasaray fans were chanting “Kosovo, Kosovo”.
Serbian fans attacked the civilian cars in front of the arena. Also two policemen were injured in the fight.
After the game Galatasaray head coach Ergin Ataman had tough words for the Serbian fans: “Around 300 terrorists came to Istanbul without tickets and attacked our people. Euroleague must suspend them. I had the chance to see what happened outside the arena. They had torches and attacked the police. It is a shame”.
This morning Ataman apologized for his words on Twitter.
