In one of the closest MVP races all season, veteran shooter Simas Jasaitis of PBC Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar recorded the best individual performance in a winning effort in Quarterfinals Game 2. Jasaitis led Lokomotiv to a no-doubt-about-it 90-65 home win against KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica with 23 points on near perfect shooting: He made 1 of 2 two-pointers, 5 of 7 from downtown and did not miss in 6 free throw attempts. Jasaitis added 5 rebounds, an assist, 2 block and 3 fouls drawn for a performance index rating of 28 - the best among winning players this week. The highest performance index rating belonged to John Bryant of ratiopharm Ulm, but his team lost 101-78 on the road at Uxue Bilbao Basket. Bryant had 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 fouls drawn for a 29 index. Also in that game, Lamont Hamilton of Bilbao had 21 points on 9-of-13 two-point shooting, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 block to amass a 27 index. Chuck Eidson of Unics Kazan (26 index) and Nikos Zisis of Bilbao (25) complete the top individual performances this week.

Jasaitis and Zisis were also this week's top scorers each with 23 points. Bryant was the quarterfinals' best scorer, averaging 25.5 points. Artur Drozdov of Budivelnik led all rebounders by pulling down 12 against Spartak St. Petersburg. He added 12 points for a double-double - the only player to register one this week. Nikita Kurbanov of Spartak was this phase's best rebounder at 8 per night. Janis Strelnieks of Spartak and Mantas Kalnietis of Lokomotiv each dished 6 assists this week. Kalnietis and Strelnieks also tied for first place in the quarterfinals at 6.5 per game. Dragicevic collected 5 steals against Budivelnik and tied Hamilton atop the quarterfinals' standings, each averaging 3 per night. Serhiy Lishchuk of Valencia Basket, Richard Hendrix of Lokomotiv and Josh Carter of Spartak each had 3 blocks this week. Hendrix led the quarterfinals in blocks at 2.5 per game.
