KK Cedevita set new record in Eurocup
18 triple messe a segno in trasferta
In addition to Cedevita's pivotal road win at Gran Canaria 2014, the team can also celebrate a pair of Eurocup records. Cedevita drilled 18 three-pointers in the 86-89 victory, the most by a visiting team in competition history. Moreover, the 35 triples combined from the team’s last game makes it the most three-pointers ever made by a team in back-to-back Eurocup games. The 18 threes on Wednesday are tied for the second most in a Eurocup game. That record belongs to Unics Kazan, which made 20 triples against Besiktas Cola Turka in the 209-10 season opener. Cedevita downed 18 of its 31 shots from downtown, tying Pamesa Valencia, Azovmash Mariupol and Vertical Vision Cantu, which also made 18 threes in past games. Bracey Wright and Damjan Rudez each fired in 5 three-pointers to lead the way for head coach Aleksandar Petrovic's team. Vedran Vukusic and Dontaye Draper each sank 3 and Marino Bazdaric and Vedran Princ fired in one each.
