Triumph inks center Bashminov

One of Group B's undefeated co-leaders, Triumph Lyubertsy of Russia, has announced the signing of veteran center Aleksandar Bashminov for the remainder of the Eurocup season. Bashminov (211, 31) arrives from another Russian club, Ural Great Perm, where he averaged 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in Russian League play last season. Bashminov last played in the competition in 2004-05 with PAOK of Greece. He had previously been a two-time Euroleague Final Four participant with CSKA Moscow, in 2003 and 2004.
