Marius Prekevicius signs with Azovmash Mariupol

6’6” Point guard Marius Prekevicius has been signed by Azovmash Mariupol in the Ukrainian Superleague. The 25 years old Lithuanian player is not new to Azovmash. Last year, after having started the season with Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius in the Lithuanian LKL league, Marius has been loaned to Kavala/Panorama in the Greek A1 league. A month later he signed with Azovmash where he scored 10.1 ppg, grabbing 2 rebounds and averaging 3.5 assists per game. Marius played three years in the USA in high school, junior college and in college and played also in the Lithuanian National Team in the last Olympic Games in Beijing.
