Red Star offered a three year contract to Pesic

According to Sportske.net, Red Star offered to coach Svetislav Pesic a three year contract for 400.000 euro per season. The final decision should arrive at least early next week.

Pesic would have a 1+1 so he could decide at the end of the first season whether to stay or not. The biggest problem is the financial crisis that Serbian team faced during the season. Pesic asked for economical stability during the entire season.

"The proposal is secret. I can say that Pesic did not question on the length of the contract. He wants that the organization can meet the high demands to win in any competitions. Sincerely, I am great optimistic about the further cooperation, more than I was one week ago. I hope to solve the issue in the weekend or early next week" said Opacic.
