Crvena Zvezda signs Zoran Paunovic to a four-year contract extension

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade locked up one of the the prizes of its junior system, Zoran Paunovic, on a four-year contract, the club announced Wednesday. Paunovic (2.00 meters, 18 years old) was the MVP and leading scorer of the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament Belgrade qualifying event in February after posting 24.5 points per game. He averaged 18.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.1 steals over 7 ANGT games including the tournament finals. Paunovic played for Serbia at the U18 European Championships last summer and is on the roster for this summer's edition.
