Lokomotiv Kuban signs Vitaly Fridzon to a two-year deal
He left CSKA Moscow
Just a few hours after having made official that he was leaving CSKA Moscow, experienced guard Vitaly Fridzon was announced by Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar for the next two seasons. Fridzon (1.95 meters, 32 years old) spent the last five seasons with CSKA and lifted the 2016 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague title with the team. In his last season there, he played 30 games, averaging 2.9 points in over seven minutes on court. Before CSKA, Fridzon spent nine seasons with Khimki Moscow Region, also winning the 2012 7DAYS EuroCup title with that team. This will be Fridzon's comeback to the EuroCup after six seasons in the EuroLeague. He was also an international player with the Russia national team, winning two bronze medals at the 2011 EuroBasket and the 2012 Olympics. Fridzon will be providing quality and experience to a Loko team that, as always, aspires to go all the way to the end.
