Bertomeu confirms Darussafaka Dogus won't have a wild card to play in EuroLeague next season
Bertomeu also said that in the future the winners of the Basketball Champions League may join the EuroCup, not the EuroLeague
EuroLeague CEO Jordi Bertomeu said that Darussafaka Dogus will not play in EuroLeague next season.
The Turkish team had a two-year agreement with EuroLeague that expires this season.
If they want to play again in EuroLeague, they have to win the EuroLeague title.
Bertomeu also said that in the future the winners of the Basketball Champions League may join the EuroCup, not the EuroLeague.
Next EuroCup will have 24 teams with clubs back from Italy, France, Greece, Poland and Turkey.
