Fuenlabrada's Alex Llorca out for the season with a knee injury
Llorca will return next season
Days before its do-or-die 7DAYS EuroCup showdown against Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius, Montakit Fuenlabrada announced that combo guard Alex Llorca is set to miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. Llorca got injured in a Spanish League game against ICL Manresa. He has a partial fracture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of his right knee. He is set to undergo surgery this week and is expected to be sidelined for around six months. Fuenlabrada players and coaching staff will wear T-shirts with a support message before the game against Rytas. Llorca has averaged 6.1 points with excellent shooting percentages (65% 2FG, 50% 3FG) in 7 EuroCup games this season. He ranks second in steals per 40 minutes (3.78), only trailing E.J. Rowland of Khimki Moscow Region (3.8 per 40 minutes).
