Italian teams asked for a fourth spot in the new Eurocup

The three Italian teams which attended the meeting in Barcelona (Reggio Emilia, Trento and Sassari) asked Euroleague to give Italy a fourth spot in Eurocup.
Euroleague will decide later whether to grant Italy with another place in the new Eurocup.
Avellino and Cantù are interested in joining Eurocup starting from next season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
