EuroCup
One more time, the Last 32 reached a conclusion with 16 teams advancing to the Eurocup eighthfinals. Many thrillers took place for teams to clinch the last spots. That was not the case, however, for Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas, who had already booked a ticket to the next phase. With the team having done its homework, big man Alen Omic exploded for a career-high personal performance, and with an index rating of 37 he earned weekly MVP honors. Omic netted 18 points, pulled 17 rebounds (also a career high for him), dished 3 assists (another personal record), had 1 block and drew 7 fouls for a great all-around performance that led his team to a new home win. After him Stephane Lasme of Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul with ani ndex rating performance of 35 thanks to 15 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Finally, completing this week's podium of top individual performances is Nizhny Novgorod's Dmitry Khvostov, with an index rating performance of 33.

Individual highs: Paul Stoll, 12 assists and 6 steals

Jeremy Chappell of Avtodor Saratov was the top scorer of the week thanks to his 29 points, while Dwight Hardy of Trabzonspor Medical Park had 27 for him as second best mark. It comes as no suprise that Omic's 17 boards were the highest this week. He pulled 13 defensive boards and 4 offensive. Adrien Moerman of Banvit Bandirma followed suit with 15 rebounds. Paul Stoll of Avtodor Saratov was, once again, at the top of the assists ranking with 12 decisive passes. Khvostov was the only other player with double digits, 10. Stoll also put a big effort in defense as he had 6 steals, the most this week, while under the glass, ratiopharm Ulm's Philipp Neumann and Valencia Basket's John Shurna led the blocks rankings with 3 apiece.
