The next-to-last round of the Last 32 featured several showdowns across Europe as five more teams secured tickets to the following stage. When the dust settled however, one player stood above the rest with the best individual performance, and it was none other than Travis Peterson of Avtodor Saratov, with a performance index rating of 33 that earned him weekly MVP honors. Peterson led his team to an authoritative road win at Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem thanks to his 29 points - including 7 of 10 threes -, 6 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 steal and 4 drawn fouls. This was Peterson's best individual performance so far in the Eurocup. A teammmate of Peterson's, Paul Stoll, also had the second best individual performance of the week, tied with Krunoslav Simon of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, with a 32 index rating performance. Completing the top performances of the week were Nihad Dedovic and Alex Renfroe, both of FC Bayern Munich with, respective 31's.

Individual highs: Jonathan Brockman ties own season rebounds mark, 17

Peterson (29), Dedovic and Simon (28 apiece) were also the three top scorers of the week, followed with 27 points by Semen Antonov of Nizhny Novgorod. Jonathan Brockman of MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg was huge under the glass with as many as 17 boards (8 defensive, 9 offensive), which ties the best individual mark of the season, also set by Brockman last November during the regular season in a game against Le Mans Sarthe Basket. Renfroe and Stoll also shared honors this week at the top of the list of best passers with 13 assists apiece, just one shy of the season record. In the defensive end, two players tied at the top as well with 6 steals each: Evgenii Baburin of Nizhny Novgorod and Daniel Ewing of Neptunas Klaipeda. Last but not least, in the blocks department, three players stopped as many plays each: Anthony Alexander of Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari, Tony Gaffney of Hapoel Jerusalem and Viacheslav Kravtsov of CAI Zaragoza.
