Two MVPs for Round 4 of Eurocup

The 18 games of the Regular Season Round 4 had results of all kinds across the continent, but when the battle dust settled, two players emerged with the best prfoemances of the week. In fact, it is the first time this season that two players share weekly MVP honors, each with an index rating performance of 36, as both led their respective teams to wins this week: Zach Wright of Union Olimpija Ljubljana and Errick McCollum of Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul. Wright led Olimpija with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 8 drawn fouls, while McCollum didthe same with Galatasaray with his 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 7 drawn fouls. The third best individual performance of the week came from Blake Schilb also of Galatasaray, as he had an index rating performance of 31 behind 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists.

Two players shared the top spot in the ranking for best scorers of the week as Elmedin Kikanovic of ALBA Berlin and Rasid Mahalbasic of Nizhny Novgorod led their respective teams with 24 points apiece. Milos Borisov of Szolnoki Olaj dominated the glass this week with his 13 boards, 11 defensive and 2 offensive. Six other players pulled at least 10 rebounds this weeh in the battle under the boards. Eugene Lawrence of Telekom Baskets Bonn was no match for other passers this week as he reigned supreme with his 13 assists. On the defensive end, four players had as many steals including Rokas Giedraitis and Nico Laprovittola of Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius, McCollum himself and Loic Schwartz of Proximus Spirou Charleroi; and veteran Florent Pietrus of SLUC Nancy had as many as 4 blocks for himself to lead the ranking of stoppers this week.
