Gran Canaria signs Albert Oliver to a one-year deal
Oliver remains in Gran Canaria
With 458 games played in ACB, Oliver landed in Gran Canaria in 2013 from Joventut after an outstanding season in Badalona.
Since he arrived to Gran Canaria, he proved his cold blood in the clutch minutes of the games with several key baskets that every fan from Gran Canaria remembers now.
Last season he played 34 games in ACB scoring 8,7 points per game and 2,9 assists. In Eurocup he averaged 7,8 points and 3,3 assists in 24 games.
I have always said that Gran Canaria was my first option. My family is really happy here and I am very comfortable in the team, with my teammates and the coaching staff. My family and I are very happy to continue in Herbalife Gran Canaria.
Our last season was amazing. It will be very difficult to repeat our performance in Eurocup, but I hope that this year can be very successful and I am looking forward to play the Supercopa Endesa.
