Last 32 Round 6 MVP: Sharrod Ford, Paris Levallois

Another season and another Last 32 that comes to an end. Sixteen teams have survived and will start playing the eighthfinals starting next March 3. One of those teams was Paris Levallois, as it was led this week to a crucial road win by Sharrod Ford and his big performance that earned him MVP honors. Ford reached a performance index rating of 37, the most by any player this round, thanks to his 35 points - including 16 of 24 two-point shots -, 11 rebounds - 8 of them offensive -, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks and 3 fould drawn. These numbers included career highs for Ford in performance index rating, points and offensive rebounds after two seasons in the Eurocup. Second in line was Virtus Rome's Rok Stipcevic with a performance index rating of 32, in a home win over CAI Zaragoza. Sipcevic netted 20 points with almost no miss, dished 5 assists and drew 5 fouls. Alen Omic of Union Olimpija Ljubljana had an index 36 in a losing effort for his team.

It's no big surprise that Ford's 35 points in his MVP performance are this week's individual top scoring tally. Randy Culpepper of Kransy Oktyabr Volgograd also shined with his 30 points in his team's road win at Cedevita Zagreb. FC Bayern Munich's Vladimir Stimac led all players under the glass with his 14 rebounds while Maxime Zianveni of SLUC Nancy pulled 12 himself. Luka Rupnik of Olimpija led all passers as he reached double digits for 10 assists, and Darius Washington of CEZ Basketball Nymburk followed suit with 9. Last but not least, Jacques Alinge of JDA Dijon was bigger than anyone else in defense thanks to his 4 blocks.
