Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 1 of the Eurocup Last 32. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition by-laws that all teams and players are aware of and obliged to fulfill. The following sanctions were handed down for Round 1:
- Buducnost Voli Podgorica has been sanctioned with respective fines of 30,001, 1,500 and 2,000 Euros for the aggression by the public against players, lighting of fireworks, and throwing of objects onto the playing court in its home game against Banvit Bandirma, under Article 29.1 paragraph (e), 29.2 paragraph (e), and 29.2 paragraph (g) respectively of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
- Mr. Earl Rowland, of Banvit Bandirma has been sanctioned with a fine of 30,001 for aggression against the public, under Article 27.1 a) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
- Mr. Samuel Mejia, of Banvit Bandirma has been sanctioned with a temporary disqualification for the following three games and a fine of 30,001 for aggression against the public, under Article 27.1 a) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
