Baloncesto Sevilla tabs Jerel McNeal
The guard moves to Spain
Baloncesto Sevilla brought in its first new player by inking playmaker Jerel McNeal on Monday. McNeal (1.91 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Bakersfield of the D-League, where he averaged 17.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 18 games last season. He started the 2013-14 season with Zheijiang Chouzhou Bank, averaging 21.5 points, 4.7 assists and 2.9 steals in 15 Chinese League games before joining Bakersfield. McNeal has also played for Fabi Shoes Montegranaro in Italy, Rio Grande of the D-League and Dexia Mons-Hainaut in Belgium since finishing his college career at Marquette University. He helped Rio Grande reach the D-league finals in 2011. McNeal is set to make his Eurocup debut with Sevilla this season.
