Eurocup will drop from 48 to 36 teams next season

Jordi Bertomeu announced during the press conference before the final between Valencia and Unics Kazan that Eurocup will have 36 teams next season instead of the 48 had this year.

The decision made by Euroleague Basketball comes due to the several teams who passed on playing the competition this year.
