2013-14 All-Eurocup First, Second teams named
Nelson, Goudelock, Thompson, Doellman and Golubovic the first team
The new and expanded 2013-14 Eurocup basketball season had even more action and drama than ever before. As it does every season, Euroleague Basketball is pleased to honor 10 deserving stars as members of the All-Eurocup First and Second Teams, players that excelled on the court throughout the season and led their respective teams in deep runs in the tournament. This year’s selection is loaded with familiar faces. Some are previous All-Eurocup selections with multiple Eurocup or even Turkish Airlines Euroleague seasons under their belt.
First Team:
Guard Andrew Goudelock of Unics Kazan
Guard DeMarcus Nelson of Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade
Forwards Dijon Thompson of Nizhny Novgorod
Forward Justin Doellman of Valencia Basket Club
Center Vladimir Golubovic of Aykon TED Ankara Kolejliler
Second Team:
Guard Yotam Halperin of Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem
Swingman Reggie Redding of Alba Berlin
Forward Caleb Green of Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari
Forward Darjus Lavrinovic of Budivelnik Kiyv
Center Bojan Dubljevic of Valencia Basket Club
Dubljevic was previously announced as the winner of 2013-14 Eurocup Rising Star Trophy, while Andrea Trinchieri of Unics Kazan was named Eurocup Coach of the Year. Still to be revealed is the identity of the 2013-14 Eurocup MVP.
