There were results for all tastes with some blowouts and some narrow wins, but when the dust settled, Darjus Lavrinovic of Budivlenik Kiev, who played its home game in Kaunas, Lithuania, emerged as weekly MVP thans to a performance with an index rating of 38, the highest this week among all winning players. Lavrinovic led his team to a 86-82 win over JSF Nanterre by scoring 28 points - including 8 of 11 two-point shots -, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks and 7 drawn fouls. Next in line this week was another big man who led his team to a Game 1 win, Boban Marjanovic of Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade. Marjanovic had a performance with index rating 33 thanks to his 21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 9 drawn fouls. Andrew Goudelock of Unics Kazan added another great performance this season with an index rating of 32, his highest so far in the competition, to lead Unics to a huge win thanks to his 36 points - including 6 of 12 threes - and 3 assists.
