Regular Season Round 9 MVP: Jason Love, Belfius Mons-Hainaut

Love MVP of the week

EuroCup

Belfius Mons-Hainaut has arrived to the party a bit late this season since it won two of the last three games when the deal was mostly sealed in Group D. However, thanks to the latest 91-90 home win over Telekom Baskets Bonn this week, Jason Love can claim weekly MVP honors as his index rating performance of 34 - the most among winning players this week - lifted his team to its second win. Love scored 20 points including 8 of 9 two-pointers, pulled 14 rebounds, dished 3 assists, had 2 steals and drew 8 fouls for a complete performance in the game. Second in line was Tyshawn Abbott of Kalev Cramo, another team that got its second win this week. Abbott scored 25 points, pulled 6 boards and had 4 steals to rack up an index rating of 31. Rasid Mahalbasic of CEZ Nymburk, Nikola Kalinic of Radnicki Kragujevac and Omar Thomas of Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari complete the list of top 5 performances this week with an index rating of 30 each.

Individual highs: Marinovic ties assists record with his 15

Luke Babbitt of Nizhny Novgorod scored as many as 28 points this week, including 8 threes, to lead his team in a great thriller against Aykon TED Ankara Kolejliler that the Turkish team managed to pull off. Arthur Stepheson of Union Olimpija Ljubljana pulled the most boards this week with as many as 15, 7 defensive and 8 offensive. The best passer of the week, of course, was Radnicki's Marko Marinovic, who tied the assists single game record of all time with his 15 decisive passes. Bozhidar Avramov of Lukoil Academic Sofia had as many as 5 steals while two players stopped three plays each and, therefore, had 3 blocks: Andrea Crosariol of EWE Baskets Oldenburg and Darryl Watkins of Belgacom Spirou Charleroi.
