Eurocup Regular Season Round 6 MVP: Vladimir Golubovic, TED Ankara

Another round passed by with 24 games with battles all across Europe, but when the dust settled only one winning player earned MVP honors for Round 6 and that was none other than Vladimir Golubovic of Aykon TED Ankara Kolejliler, as he racked up an index rating of 36. Golubovic led his team to a valuable road win at Khimik Yuzhne by a slim 79-81 with a great performance that included 22 points, 17 rebounds, 2 blocks and 9 drawn fouls. Next in line was Alando Tucker of Lukoil Academic Sofia who fell short by a single point as he had an index rating of 35. Tucker scored 29 points - including 11 of 12 free throws -, pulled 5 boards and drew 8 fouls in his team's win to Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem. However, the player with the highest index rating this week was Esteban Batista of Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir with 41, including 27 points and 16 rebounds, but his team didn't succeed in taking the win against Igokea Aleksandrovac, so he was not eligible for the award. 

Individual highs: Gordic, Rasic 10 assists each 

The list of best individual performances of the week starts with Union Olimpija Ljubljana's Deividas Gailius, who was the best scorer of the week with his 31 points, becoming the only player to break the 30-point barrier in Round 6, and lifting his team to an agonizing road win at Cimberio Varese by a single point, 82-83. MVP Golubovic was the player with the most rebounds with his total 17 including 11 defensive and 6 offensive. Two players stepped up and moved the ball for their teammates as both Nemanja Gordic of Igokea Aleksandrovac and Aleksandar Rasic of TED Ankara dished 10 assists apiece. On the defensive end, Davin White of Lukoil was especially focused with his 7 steals, as were Jared Homan of Spartak St. Petersburg and Trevor Mbakwe of Virtus Rome with 5 blocks each.
