Eurocup Game 2, Conference 2: Sportando Team of the Week

Sportando Top 5. Conference 2.

EuroCup

The second week of Sportando's Eurocup Top 5. Here we analyze the conference 2 with groups E-F-G-H

Top-Five

Bobby Dixon, PG, Pinar Karsiyaka:  Don’t leave, indeed double. This is what Bobby Dixon must have thought when came on field last night in the match between Asesoft Ploiesti and his Pinar Karsiyaka. The point-guard plays almost the entire game and closes with another sumptuous performance that drags the Turks to the second victory in Eurocup. He provides on the scoreboard 25 points (with 5 bombs), 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 8 received fouls for 33 of evaluation. A serious candidate for MVP of the competition if he continues on this path.

Marko Popovic, SG, Khimki Moscow: the experience that pays. Marko Popovic is no longer a kid, but in the nights from inside or outside he’s always there. After the resounding defeat of the first day, Khimki needs a single result and the Croatian guard puts the velvet jacket to show the best of himself. His performance is condensed into 25 points (4/5 for three), 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 8 received fouls for 31 of evaluation. In tandem with Monya drags the team in the last quarter to a hard-fought victory over Lukoil.

Frank Robinson, SF, Bisons Loimaa: if the Bisons are one step away from making the shot in the field of Radnicki the credit is almost entirely his own. The former Fullerton swingman, last year in Wuerzburg, pushes the whole team to a comeback from a double-digit disadvantage and leads them to the final point to point with a performance of 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 9 received fouls for 32 of evaluation. It stands literally head and shoulders above all the teammates, but isn't enough to ensure the Finns a second resounding victory in Eurocup.

Maurice Kemp, PF, Alba Fehervar: the young rookie from East Carolina climbs into the chair in the match against PAOK Thessaloniki approaching the Hungarian team to home victory, which in the end escapes only for a point. His score is sensational, with a game that says 26 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 9 received fouls to reach the 40 of evaluation. A player on which must keep an eye on, because it has versatility in the roles and a really interesting technique.

Mouphtaou Monra Yarou, C, Radnicki Kragujevac:
if the Bisons, despite a possessed Robinson, aren’t able to bring home the victory is just because on  the other side there is a player that wins the MVP award of the day. Yarou takes off up to 41 of evaluation in a match where it dominates and does damage in the painted-area of the other team in total freedom. His final score says 17 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists with various other statistics to replenish the final bill. What should you want to ask for? Evening to remember.
