Alba Fehervar 88 - 89 PAOK Thessaloniki
PAOK Thessaloniki collected its second victory in as many games by winning a thriller on the road 89-88 at Alba Fehervar in Eurocup Group F action. Kostas Charalampidis made what amounted to be the game-winning free throws with 43 seconds left for PAOK. Maurice Kemp missed a put-back at the buzzer for Fehervar. Michael Tsairelis collected 21 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals for PAOK, which also received 19 points from Charalampidis. Read more here.

Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck 69 - 84 Telenet Ostende
Telenet Oostende grabbed a huge 69-84 away win over Artland Dragons Quakenbruck to take the lead in Group A with a 2-0 record. A 9-22 run to open the game made the difference and the visitors never looked back. Andrija Stipanovic paced Ostend with 20 points on 10-for-13 shooting and 6 rebounds, Mateusz Ponitka scored 14, Ryan Thompson 13 and Quentin Serron and Pierre Antoine Gillet netted 10 apiece for the winners. For the Dragons, Lawrence Hill scored 16 points, David Holston bagged 13, Antonio Graves 11 and Kenneth Frease netted 11 in defeat. Read more here.

CSU Asesoft Ploiesti 72 - 80 Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir
Pinar Karsyiaka Izmir claimed a 72-80 road win over CSU Ploiesti to jump atop Group E with a 2-0 record. CSU Asesoft dropped to 1-1 with the loss. Bobby Dixon contributed 25 points on 5-of-9 three-point shooting and 6 assists a performance index rating of 33, Esteban Batista added a double-double of 17 points and 11 boards, Jon Diebler scored 12 and Baris Hersek posted 11 points plus 9 rebounds. Filip Adamovic led Ploiesti with 19 points, Vladimir Tica added 14, Chris Dunn 13 and Dragan Zevkovic 11. Read more here.

Neptunas 70 - 72 Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul
Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul collected its first victory of the 2013-14 Eurocup season by winning 72-70 on the road against Neptunas. Chris Lofton nailed a game-winning three-pointer with two seconds to play for Besiktas, which improved to 1-1 in Group H play. Bradley Buckman collected 23 points and 13 rebounds while Lofton scored 14 points and Colton Iverson and Doron Perkins both tallied 11 points for the winners. Martynas Mazeika paced Neptunas with 17 points while Valdas Vasylius scored 16 points. Read more here.

Khimik Yuzhne 78 - 76 Nizhny Novgorod
Khimik Yuzhne improved to 2-0 in group F by edging Nizhny Novgorod 78-76. The hosts led throughout the second half, but Nizhny rallied late and had a shot to force overtime, but Brandon Paul missed at the buzzer. Nizhny dropped to 1-1 with the loss. Jamal Shuler paced the victors with 18 points and Paul Delaney added 16. Artem Pustovi added 3 of the team’s 7 blocked shots. Petr Gubanov led Nizhny with 21 points, Brandon Paul added 14 and Dimitriy Khvostov ran the offense with 9 assists. Read more here.

Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari 94 - 100 Bilbao Basket
In the highest scoring game of the season, Bilbao Baskets used the extra session to edge Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari 94-100, and improve to 2-0 atop of Group B on Wednesday. The two teams combined to hit 26 three-pointers, but the unlikely hero for Bilbao was its center Antanas Kavaliauskas who scored 15 of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter and overtime. Kavaliauskas also grabbed 9 rebounds, while Alex Mumbru scored 18 plus 7 rebounds, and Dairis Bertans hit 4 of 5 triples for 17 points. Read more here.

Cimberio Varese 77 - 71 Paris Levallois
Cimberio Varese held off late charge from Paris Levallois, prevailing 77-71 to earn its first victory in Group C on Wednesday. The hosts never trailed and led by as many as 25 points midway through the third quarter, but the visiting side orchestrated a rally that saw them cut the deficit 73-71, but Cimberio held on in the final 30 seconds. Keydren Clark led the hosts in victory with 21 points, Aubrey Coleman and Ebi Ere had 13 apiece, while Frank Hassell had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Read more here.

Spartak Saint Petersburg 68 - 69 Panionios Athens
Panionios Athens jumped to the top of Group H with a narrow 68-69 road win at Spartak St. Petersburg. Uros Duvnjak scored the go-ahead three in the final minute and Marc Carter iced the game from the line in the closing seconds. Panionios improved to 2-0 while handing Spartak its first loss. Carter led the winners with 23 points, Landon Milbourne added 17 and Erick McCollom 16 for the winners. Read more here.

Igokea Aleksandrovac 67 - 74 Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem 
Hapoel Jerusalem came from behind for a 67-74 road win over Igokea Aleksandrovac. The former ULEB Cup champs used a 12-25 fourth quarter, including 7 unanswered points in the last minute to improve to 2-0 in Group E. Derwin Kitchen led the winners with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 assists, while Ronald Dupree and Yotam Halperin netted 13 each for Hapoel. Ramon Galloway was the main contributor for the home team bagging 13 points, Uros Nikolic chipped in 11 and Sinisa Stemberger added 10. Read more here.

BCM Gravelines Dunkerque 74 - 66 Telekom Baskets Bonn
BCM Gravelines-Dunkreque topped visiting Telekom Baskets Bonn 74-66, improving to 2-0 atop Group D on Wednesday. The hosts pulled away with a 20-1 run that started at the end of the first, and went on for the first 5 minutes of the second quarter. It put them up 34-18, and Gravelines never looked back. Marcus Lewis and Yakhuba Diawara paced the winners. Diawara had 16 points plus 8 rebounds, while Lewis collected 16 points and 7 rebounds. Read more here.


Kalev Cramo Tallinn 62 - 67 VEF Riga
VEF Riga went up to 2-0 in Group G by edging difficult Kalev Cramo Tallinn 62-67 in the Estonian capital on Wednesday. Kristaps Janicenoks paced the winners with 14 points. Kenan Barjamovic posted a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Tomas Delininkaitis also had 11 points, Dee Brown got 10 while Derrick Nix pulled down 12 rebounds for VEF. Bamba Fall led Kalev with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Read more here.

Valencia Basket Club 88 - 74 Ratiopharm Ulm
Valencia Basket improved to 2-0 and became the only undefeated team in Group C by downing Ratiopharm Ulm 88-74 at home on Wednesday. Ulm now joins Union Olimpija, Asvel Villeurbanne and Cimberio Varese in a four-way tie for second place in Group A. Sam Van Rossom paced the winners with 19 points. All-Eurocup forward Justin Doellman added 17 on 3-of-3 three-point shots, 7 rebounds and 3 steals while Serhiy Lishchuk, Oliver Lafayette and last season's Eurocup Rising Star Bojan Dubljevic each had 11 points for Valencia. Le Mans Sarthe Basket 65 - 77 FoxTown Cantu
FoxTown Cantu stayed undefeated in Group A by downing Le Mans Sarthe Basket 65-77 on the road on Wednesday. Cantu went up to 2-0 and ties for first place with Telenet Ostend, while Le Mans dropped to 1-1. Joe Ragland paced the winners with 23 points on 3-of-3 three-point shots. Pietro Aradori added 13, Maarty Leunen had 12 while Adrian Uter got 11 and a game-high 8 rebounds for Cantu. JP Batista led Le Mans with 14 points but none of his teammates scored in double digits. Asvel Villeurbanne Lyon 64 - 56 Union Olimpija Ljubljana 
A 9-0 run to end the game lifted Asvel Villeurbanne Lyon over Union Olimpija Ljubljana 64-56, giving the hosts their first victory in Group C Eurocup campaign. Asvel took control with an 11-0 run in the first 5 minutes of the game, but Olimpija rallied and finally took its first lead, 51-52, midway through the fourth quarter. When it looked like the game is destined for some high drama, the hosts stepped up defensively, not allowing a single point in the final 3 and a half minutes of the game, while scoring 9 consecutive points to end it, picking up victory. MZT Skopje Aerodrom 83 - 86 Maccabi Haifa Bazan
Maccabi Bazan Haifa grabbed its first-ever Eurocup win by rallying from a double-digit margin to edge MZT Skopje Aerodrom 83-86 in the F.Y.R. of Macedonia capital on Tuesday. Haifa improved to 1-1 in Group G while Skopje dropped to 0-2. Ike Ofoegbu led 5 Haifa players in double digits with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Donta Smith added 15 points, Moran Roth had 13, Brian Randle got 12 while David Cubillan got 11 and 6 steals for the winners. Stefan Sinovec and Todor Gecevski led Skopje with 17 points apiece. CEZ Basketball Nymburk 84 - 76 Cibona Zagreb
CEZ Basketball Nymburk downed Cibona Zagreb 84-76 to improve to 1-1 in Group A. Cibona remained winless through two games. Rashid Mahalbasic paced the winners with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 fouls drawn for a performance index rating of 33. Rado Rancik added 20 points and Scott Reynolds 13 for Nymburk. D.J. Strawberry posted 18 points with 8 boards for Cibona, Jerel Blassingame tallied 16 points with 11 assists and Dario Saric finished with 13 points and 7 rebounds in defeat. Read more here.

Cedevita Zagreb 88 - 75 Belgacom Spirou Charleroi
Cedevita Zagreb grabbed its first win in Group B by downing Belgacom Spirou Charleroi 88-75 in the Croatian capital on Tuesday. Nolan Smith paced the winners with 20 points. Jusuf Nurkic added 17 while Goran Suton had 13 on 3-of-3 three-point shots and a game-high 7 rebounds for Cedevita. Spirou dropped to 0-2. Mohamed Abukar led Spirou with 27 points on 5-of-9 three-point shots. Demond Mallet added 14 and 6 assists while Devin Green got 11 for the guests, which trailed 23-22 early in the second quarter. Lukoil Academic Sofia 79 - 85 Khimki Moscow Region
Khimki Moscow Region escaped from Universiada Hall of Sofia, Bulgaria, with a 79-85 win over Lukoil Academic Sofia. The result lifted Khimki to 1-1 in Group E, while Academic remained winless at 0-2. A 10-0 run to open the last quarter gave a double-digit cushion to Khimki, 65-75, which then rejected all the hosts’ attempts to come back. Marko Popovic had a stellar night by scoring 27 points, 7 of them in the crucial run, on 5-of-6 two point shooting and 4 of 5 from long distance. He also added 4 assists and 8 foul drawn for an index rating of 33. Read more here.

Belfius Mons Hainaut 76 - 88 Virtus Rome
Virtus Rome had a big second half en route to 76-88 win over Belfius Mons Hainaut, improving to 1-1 in Group D on Tuesday. The visitors trailed 44-40 at halftime, but outscored Belfius Mons 32-48 after the break for a comfortable win. Jordan Taylor scored 22 points with 5 assists and 4 steals to lead in victory. Philipp Goss netted 15 points, Jimmy Baron 14, and Quinton Hosley 13 for the visitors. Belfius Mons lost despite five double-digit scorers. Demontez Stitt had 16 points and 7 assists, Talor Battle had 15 points, while Justin Cage collected 12 points plus 8 rebounds. Read more here.

Elan Chalon sur Saone 71 - 82 EWE Baskets Oldenburg
EWE Baskets Oldenburg picked up its first win of Group B, after topping Elan Chalon sur Saone 71-82 on Tuesday. Rickey Paulding hit three triples in the third quarter to give the visitors lead for good, before 5-14 spurt to open the fourth quarter got EWE Baskets to 59-73. Paulding finished the game shooting 5-for-7 from downtown, and 21 points. Chris Kramer had 15 points, 6 steals and 5 assists, while Konrad Wysocki and Andrea Crosariol scored 10 points apiece for EWE Baskets. Read more here.

Buducnost Voli Podgorica 80 - 73 Aykon TED Ankara Kolejliler
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica held off the visiting Aykon TED Ankara Kolejliler 80-73 to improve to 1-1 in Group F. Buducnost led for most of the encounter, but pulled away for good in the final 3 minutes with basket from Suad Sehovic, Cedomir Vikotvac and Aleksandar Capin. It was Sehovic who paced the winners with 21 points, while Jeleel Akindele had 17 points plus 8 rebounds, and Vitkovac also scored 17. Vladimir Golubovic had 26 points and 6 rebounds for TED Ankara which drops to 0-2 record. Clay Tucker netted 19 with 6 assists, and Ali Berent Kavaklioglu scored 10 in defeat. Read more here.

Unics Kazan 72 - 71 Banvit Bandirma
A complete thriller in Kazan, Russia, was solved in favor host Unics Kazan by 72-71 over Banvit Bandirma on Wednesday. Unics controlled most of the game, but Chuck David' free throws and late heroics by Earl Rowland had made it 70-71 for the guests. With one second to go, and after a timeout, Nikos Zisis fed Andrew Goudelock for a last three that went in and gave the win to the hosts. Now, Unics stands first in Group G with a 2-0 record whil Banvit drops to 1-1. Tywain McKee led the winners with 15 points, Zisis added 14 and Goudelock and Ian Vougioukas posted 10 apiece.
