Eurocup Game 1, Conference 2: Sportando Team of the Week

The first week of Sportando's Eurocup Top 5. Here we analyze the Conference 2 with groups E, F, G and H

Top-Five

Bobby Dixon, PG, Pinar Karsiyaka:  Bobby Dixon is selected by Sportando as the best point-guard in the first round of Eurocup section E-H. He played an important game last night against Igokea Aleksandrovac to help the team to win 90-60. Dixon made 22 points with 6 three-pointers, 6 rebounds and 3 assists for a total 26 of evaluation. In the last game in TBL he had scored 8 three pointers, so his hands are confirmed very hot.

Uros Duvnjak, SG, Panionios: the Serbian shooting-guard from Panionios could split the prize with his teammate Errick McCollum (27 points for him). We choose him for his complete performance in the game against Radnicki Kragujevac. He scored 19 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and added 4 assists, 3 steals and drawn 10 fouls. He closed the game with 30 of evaluation and becomes overriding in the fourth-period when Panionios made the break of 33 points to win in a sprint finish.

Jonte Flowers, SF, Asesoft Ploiesti: Last season in Finland, this season in Eurocup top-five. Jonte Flowers is selected because is one of the reasons for the incredible win of Asesoft Ploiesti in Russia against Khimki Moscow. Flowers closed the game with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals (25 of evaluation). He was decisive in the fourth period, when he completes a game with 40 minutes on the court. With Alhaji Mohamed and Gerald Lee the Finnish team was the first big surprise of the Eurocup first round.

Vladimir Golubovic, PF, TED Kolejililer Ankara: one the most skilled power-forward in the entire Europe. Golubovic is the player selected because even if his team lost against Khimik Yuzhny, he wasthe only one in the roster that tries to keep his team alive. He made 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had  27 of evaluation. He was the only one for his team to score in double digit and that shows clearly which type of game he played.

Kenan Bajramovic, C, VEF Riga: the absolute protagonist of the game VEF Riga-MTZ Skopje is him. He arrived in Latvia to replace Gani Lawal, that signed in the NBA, and showed immediately how important he can be also in Eurocup. He scored 22 points, pulled down 9 rebounds, dished 5 assists and had 34 of evaluation. It’s the first game he plays in Latvia and there are many things to suppose that his signing could be very interesting for VEF Riga.
