The draw to determine the 2013-14 Eurocup Regular Season groups will take place on Saturday, October 5 (12:30 Local time) at the Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch in Barcelona, Spain. The draw will take place one day after the end of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds, whose results will determine the last seven of the 48 teams that will play in the Eurocup this season.

The 2013-14 Eurocup marks a new era of expansion in terms of participation, quantity of games and geographical reach, with 48 teams from at least 22 countries starting the regular season on Tuesday, October 15.

The extension of the regular season from six to 10 games, ending on December 18, is among several novelties in the 2013-14 Eurocup. For the draw, the teams will be grouped geographically into eight groups of six teams each, another change.   The top three teams in each group proceed to a new Last 32 phase, beginning January 8, when they will be joined for the first time by eight teams that that do not progress to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16. The Last 32 will consist of eight groups of four teams, half of which will advance to the Last 16, which begins March 5.

From that point, the teams will play two-game, single elimination series: eighthfinals start March 5, quarterfinals on March 19 and semifinals on April 2. The two surviving teams will also play a home-and-away series on their own courts that replaces the single-game final of last season. The Eurocup Finals will be played on May 1 and May 7.
