CSU Asesoft Ploiesti signs Filip Adamovic

Filip Adamovic is the latest aquisition of CSU Asesoft Ploiești. The Bosnian, included in Aleksandar Petrovic's list for the EuroBasket 2013, is the 2nd point guard signed by the Romanian Champion this summer.

Last season, Adamovic played for Igokea both in the Adriatic League and in the Bosnian championship. He had 3.6 points, 1.7 assists and 0.9 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game. Earlier in his career, Filip played for Mladost, Sloboda Tuzla, Servitium și Borac Nektar. 


For the 1.81m guard this will be the first contract overseas. He will have the chance to compete at EuroCup level.


At the moment CSU Ploiești have five foreign players under contract. Alhaji Mohammed and Vladimir Tica remain from last season's championship winning team, while the othe new players are Jermaine 'Jonte' Flowers (from Joensuun Kataja, Finland) and Christopher Dunn (from Kaposvar, Hungary).
