Turgay Büyükkarcı: ''We were eliminated by a second-rate team.''

Turgay Büyükkarcı, President of Karşıyaka Sports Club, made some statements after the loss to UCAM Murcia in quarter finals of FIBA Basketball Champions League. Pınar Karşıyaka eliminated from the Cup and lost their chance to be in Final-Four after 81-72 loss in Murcia. 

According to Anadolu Ajansı, Turgay Büyükkarcı said that they are eliminated by a second-rate team: ''It is so sad that we were eliminated by a second-rate team. I don't wanna congratulate the team deactivated us out of bounds both in İzmir and Murcia.''

Büyükkarcı reminded that Sadiel Rojas didnt get any punishment by FIBA after the game in İzmir and, ''We might review this organisation because they just sit back and watch. Lima and Rojas showed off some unfair behaviours in both games. It is so sad that they haven't received any punishments. We are going to make a statement soon about the Cup that we gonna play in next year.''

Pınar Karşıyaka coach Aleksandar Trifunovic congratulated UCAM Murcia and said that they deserved to be in Final-Four, ''We played as we want in the first 34-35 minutes. But in last 3-4 minutes we couldn't play as we planned. They used the advantage they got in the first game. I wish them the best in Final-Four.''
