Jimmy Baron had a performance for the ages on Tuesday night by drilling a Basketball Champions League record 10 3-pointers to fire Neptunas Klaipeda to a 103-88 victory over visiting Muratbey Usak Sportif.
The 30-year-old guard, whose previous high this season was 19 points, ended up with a competition high of 42.
Baron, who had 29 points by half-time as the Lithuanian club went from trailing by six early on to leading 60-44 at the break, surpassed Nick Minnerath's 39-point explosion for Avtodor Saratov on Gameday 5 at Maccabi Rand Media.
