BBL 2015: another triumph for BC Siauliai
Lithuanians win the final vs Ventspils
BC Siauliai won for the second time the Baltic Basketball League after the victory in 2014 edition, bringing in Lithuania for the tenth time the trophy in 11 years of the competition.
The champions exceeded Ventspils in the final, both teams joined the competition only during the post-season, starting from the Eight-finals round.
The Latvian had won the first final game for 70-68 but in the second game, under the eyes of 4500 fans, Siauliai won the match for 88-80 after an onvertime, thanks to a great comeback in the third quarter.
Top scorer for the champions Giedraitis with 22 points and 5/11 by 3, good performance also for Jucikas (18+9), Leonavicius (18) and Alijevas (12+7+5). Across not enough the 17 points with 6 rebounds of Jerai Grant, 18 points and 5 assist for Janicenoks, 12 of Vairogs and 10 for Meiers.
Bronze medal for Juventus, thanks to the 10 points victory in the second game against Tartu Rock.
