SCM U Craiova is the 10th team in EUROHOLD Balkan League
Another season of BIBL for the Romanian team
EUROHOLD Balkan League is happy to announce that SCM U Craiova is the tenth team for season 2014/2015. The management of the club also announced the news officially and now we can say that the Romanian side will continue for second straight season in the competition.
Last season was the debuting one for SCM U Craiova and the team performed well. They finished 7th in the regular season with 6 wins and 10 defeats and just missed out the playoffs. The Romanians had some good results and some of the games were lost right at the end.
"EUROHOLD Balkan League is proving to be a very serious project and this is why we want to be amongst the teams in the competition this season and in the future years. Our presence in BIBL is thanks to a sponsor who is a fan of Craiova. Our participation in the competition is to promote the sport and the image of the city of Craiova" is what is written in the official statement of the club.
SCM U Craiova will be in group B with the teams of KB Sigal Prishtina, KS Vllaznia, KK Kozuv and KK Mornar.
Last season SCM U Craiova finished 7th in the Regular season of Romanian championship and was beaten in the quarterfinals by Oradea.
