Klemen Prepelic: 'I would like to play in Spain or Italy next season'

You have a great season behind you in Adriatic League where you averaged 14.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. At age of 19 are already on radar of many NBA teams. When will you declare yourself eligible for the NBA Draft?
I might test the waters this year and put my name out there and see. If I don't like what I am hearing then I will pull my name out. I still have time it's all up to me and my agency what we decide.

What are your plans for next season?
I would like to make a step forward in my basketball career and play in the best leagues in Europe. This is my goal for the next season.

Do you dream about playing for any Spanish or Italian team?
It would be nice to play in Spain or Italy. I respect Spanish and Italian basketball teams, coaches and players who play there. I follow both leagues a lot.

How would you describe yourself; to what player do you compare yourself the most?
Actually, I don't compare myself to nobody. I think I know my strengths very well and I try to use them on the basketball court.

Currently you are working under well known coach Zmago Sagadin in Helios Domzale. What has he taught you?
Coach Sagadin is a great coach who taught me a lot. From working ethics to understanding of the basketball game. He is very big on small details of basketball game which makes in my opinion average player into high level player. And this is where coach Zmago Sagadin is at his best.
