Krka Novo Mesto announced that rookie Ben Hansbrough left the team unexpectedly and flew back to the States. Hansbrough, who signed with the Slovenian team few weeks ago after he parted ways with Bayern Munich where he has started the season, just texted the management that he was going back to USA for serious personal issues.
The rookie also added that he had problems with his ankle and wanted to go to the States where he will work out to be ready for the next NBA season. The Slovenian team informed that they will take all the necessary action against the player who had a valid contract until the end of the season and has been paid on time all the salaries.
The guard was averaging 11.5ppg in Adriatic League with 2rpg and 2.8apg in 4 games.
