Omar Thomas, banned from playing in Italy for the next 16 months due to his false Slovenian passport used to play as Bosman last season in Serie A, signed a contract in Serbia with Red Star of Belgrade. The American forward will land today in Belgrade and should make his debut in the weekend against Partizan Belgrade. FIBA gave the ok the to the transfer.
