Cibona lands Josip Blajic

Floorleader Josip Blajic signed a one year deal with Croatian "power house" Cibona Zagreb. The 24 year old point guard had a great 2010-'11 season with his hometown team Alkar from Sinj, where he averaged 11 ppg, 3 rpg and 3.7 apg in 22 minutes. As a result, he was invited to join the Croatian National B selection team this summer. The coaching staff of Cibona, head coach Josip Vrankovic and asisstant coach Teo Cizmic, are aware of the fact that Blajic aggressiveness and energy will help them in the upcoming Turksih Airlines Euroleague qualification tournament in Vilnius in which they will meet Cholet from France in the 1st round.
