Nikola Pekovic agreed to terms with Partizan Belgrade

According to sources close to the situation, the deal between Partizan Belgrade and Nikola Pekovic is done. The big man from Montenegro will return to the Serbian powerhouse with a one-year contract with NBA out which will allow him to return to Minnesota Timberwolves when lockout ends.

In his first season in the NBA, Pekovic averaged 5.5ppg and 3rpg in 65 games played with Minnesota Timberwolves. The center has played with Partizan Belgrade from 2005 to 2008 before he moved to Panathinaikos with whom he won the Euroleague in 2009.
