KK Buducnost announced its first signing for the upcoming season, in which the team will try to battle its way to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague through the Qualifying Rounds. Buducnost bolstered its frontcourt by inking Milivoje Bozovic to a two-year deal. Bozovic (2.11 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Hemofarm Stada, where he averaged 5.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in 7 Eurocup last season, helping his team to reach the Last 16. He made his profesional debut with Lavovi 063 Beograd back in the 2003-04 season and also played for Avala Ada and Mega Ishrana before joining Hemofarm in 2007. Bozovic helped Hemofarm to reach the Adriatic League and the Serbian League finals in 2008, as well as making it to the Eurocup semifinals in 2009, losing against soon-to-be champ Lietuvos Rytas. Had he played enough Last 16 games, Bozovic would have led this phase in rebounds (10.3 ppg.) last season despite averaging less than 23 minutes on court.
