Coach Vlasic signed a new contract with Siroki

There was no doubt for the management of Široki Brijeg how it will decide about the coach for the upcoming season. Hrvoje Vlašić brought the team back to the regional league and signed a new contract on Tuesday.

Vlašić took the team few rounds into the 2008/09 season when Josip Vranković stepped down and made what everybody hoped for. Široki guaranteed a spot in the regional league after a year of pause and even won the 2009 Bosnian championship. Immediately after the signing Vlašić started to talk with candidates for the senior team and as it looks he is on the right way to keep the key players from the previous season.
