Prkacin hands Cibona the title

Centre Nikola Prkacin was the hero in game four of the Croatian playoffs with a late tip-in to give Cibona a 69-71 victory over Zadar. Cibona claimed, therefore, its 15th championship yesterday after Lukša Andrić missed a lay-up with three seconds to go and Prkačin helped putting the ball inside, as the Zagreb team reconquered the title precisely lost to Zadar last year. In the finals, Cibona beat the former champions 3 to 1.
American Alan Anderson scored 24 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and stole 4 balls for the champions, while Davor Kus added 16 points and Andrić 10 and 7 rebounds. For Zadar Macedonian Todor Gečevski scored 13 points and added 7 boards, followed by Rok Stipčević and Vladimir Boisa with 11 points apiece and Hrvoje Perić with 10.
