Vukusic's season not over

It seems there is some good news for Cibona. As they await return of Marin Rozic (201-F-83) from injury, they have received another boost. Vedran Vukusic (206-F-82, college: Northwestern) will be available for the Playoff Finals.

It looks that the back injury which limited Vukusic to only 12 minutes in first game of Semifinals against Split, is not as severe as feared. After more tests have been done, it was clear that Vukusic will miss the rest of Semifinals series, yet he is expected to make recovery in time for Finals.


The first game of the Playoff Finals will be played today. Cibona was regular season champion and it will have the home court advantge from the start. As a reminder, Zadar is the defending champion. Both teams advance to the last stage with prefect 2-0 in the Semis.
