Cibona's Vukusic to miss remainder of the season?

Bad news for Cibona. After struggling to beat Split in the opening game of Playoff Semifinals series, now it seems that on of their important players may miss the rest of the season because of injury. Vedran Vukusic (206-F-82, college: Northwestern) has complained about back pains again and now it seems that he may miss the rest of Semifinals series as well as Finals. The back injury which has been giving him problems whole season seems to have been aggravated. Against Split, Vukusic spent in the game only 12 minutes in the first half. However, after complaining about the pain in his back, he did not come back for the rest of the game. Head Coach of Cibona has shortly commented after the game that Vukusic underwent tests right away, and that first prognosis is not promising. It remains to be seen after further testing what is the extent of the injury.
Other than Vedran Vukusic , another Cibona player has been on the mend as of late. Marin Rozic has been recovering from angina and he has also missed Semifinals game against Split. Still he is closer to recovery and is most likely set to feature in the second game against Split. This will definitely be a boost for Cibona.
In 2007 Vukusic signed with Cibona quickly becoming a valuable player for them. This year he player in 10 Euroleague games averaging 5.9 points and 2 rebounds per game, while in Adriatic League he averaged 6.4 points and 3.2 rebound in 25 games.
