Adriatic League, F4 Tournament in Belgrade!

On Friday it became official that Belgrade will host the 2009 Final Four Tournament, organized in cooperation between Partizan, Crvena zvezda and the city of Belgrade. The NLB League Board received the confirmation letter from Serbia in which both clubs agreed to organize the biggest NLB League event of the season.

Belgrade was the first to be offered the organization since no less then three clubs from Serbia qualified for the NLB League Final Four Tournament while Zagreb was second on the waiting list.

The tournament will be held in the Belgrade’s sport hall Arena with the capacity of 20.000 seats between April 16th and 18th: the semi-finals will be played on Thursday (April 16) while the big final is scheduled for Saturday (April 18).

Partizan, Crvena zvezda, Hemofarm Stada and Cibona qualified for the F4.
